One shirt can give you three different outfits if you change what surrounds it. Below we show how to wear a shirt to work, at the weekend and in the evening, without buying separate clothes for every occasion. The collection includes women's and men's shirts, from light models to navy, blue and small patterns.
For work
Button the shirt neatly, tuck it in and stick to calm colours: white, blue or navy. Chinos in beige, grey or navy give a tidy but relaxed result. You can also put the shirt under a crew-neck or V-neck jumper – a collar and cuffs showing from under the knitwear tidy up the whole outfit. One of the men's shirts in the collection is described in exactly this way: to be worn on its own or under knitwear.
For the weekend
Undo the collar by one button, roll up the sleeves and leave the shirt untucked. Wear a T-shirt underneath, jeans or chinos below and trainers on your feet. You can also wear the shirt as a light layer, open over a T-shirt. A small pattern works well here, adding life to a simple outfit.
For the evening
Choose a darker shirt, for example a navy one, tuck it in and add one thing that draws the eye: a coat, a cardigan or well-chosen shoes. Navy or black trousers complete the look. For women, a shirt with dark jeans and a cardigan draped over the shoulders is enough to make an outfit look more considered.
What makes the difference is the buttons, the sleeves and whether the shirt is tucked in. Before you choose a model, look at the photos from several angles to judge the collar, cuffs and length, then check the available colours and sizes.
